Community invitation to hear an incredible story of courage and hope

On Thursday evening, September 16th, the Lynn English High School Peer Mediation Program is sponsoring "Rachel’s Challenge", an inspiring presentation based on the life of Rachel Scott, the first person killed in the Columbine High School massacre. The contents of her diaries have become the foundation for this nationally acclaimed violence prevention program. Powerful video/audio footage of Rachel’s life and the Columbine tragedy motivates students to make positive changes in the way they treat others. The program is geared towards high school students and adults. Further information about “Rachel’s Challenge” is available at www.rachelschallenge.org.

LEHS students will attend "Rachel’s Challenge" during the school day. However, because this is such an important and powerful event, we would like to invite the community to attend the same presentation in the evening. Admission is free. We hope that you will join us on Thursday, September 16th, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Lynn English High School auditorium.
