Certainly one of the grandest and most generous donations in local sports history occurred when Kelly Honda of Lynn, one of Lynn’s major car dealers donated Lynn Youth Soccer a $25,000 check for its program needs.
That donation will ensure that hundreds of Lynn boys and girls will continue to enjoy the benefits of soccer and team sports at Hood Park which has become central control for youth soccer in Lynn.
For Kelly Honda to step up and give Lynn Youth Soccer its largest donation in the history of the youth soccer movement in this city is a testament to the Kelly Family that recognizes the importance of giving children a fun and worthwhile physical fitness venue that helps them to grow and to develop their talents.
