Alexis D. “Lexii” Hightower

Alexis D “Lexii” Hightower passed away unexpectedly on December 20. She was 35 years old.

Born in Boston, the beloved daughter of Patricia A. Hightower-Moreno of Chelsea and the late Samuel A. Moreno, she was raised in Chelsea, attended Chelsea public schools and graduated from Chelsea High School in 1995.  After high school, Lexii attended classes for fashion design at Bay State College in Boston.  For the last several years, she worked as an education instructor of new employees at ShoeBuy.com in Boston.  Lexii enjoyed life, loved spending time with her family and friends and was a kind, loving young woman.  She enjoyed party and event planning so she dedicated spare time to her side business, Lexii’s Party Planning.  Her business helped sponsor the Chelsea Youth Basketball League.  She also helped plan events for SoulKore Productions in Boston and was a member of the Kiwanis Club in Chelsea.

Lexii was a dedicated mother, loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.  She was compassionate and always willing to help others and will be greatly missed by all.

The devoted mother of Jaysen Hightower of Chelsea, she was the loving sister of John P. Bruttaniti of Lynn, Jason S. Hightower of Saugus, Jasmine A. Hightower of Chelsea, Austin R. Hightower of Dartmouth, Samira P. Hightower of Chelsea and the late Samuel A. McLure and is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were the William R. Carafa & Son Home for Funerals, Chelsea.

Andrea Bogus

Of Revere, formerly of Chelsea

Andrea P. (DeBellis) Bogus of Revere, formerly of Chelsea, died on December 18.

She was the devoted wife of Francis Bogus of Revere; beloved mother of Lisa Parziale and her husband, Anthony of Marblehead, Michelle Mannion and her husband, Tom of Lynn, Jennifer Bogus of Revere and Frank Bogus of Winthrop;dear sister of Rosemary Killam and her husband, Roger of North Carolina and the late Frank DeBellis II and is also lovingly survived by her granddaughter Amanda Parziale of Marblehead as well as many nieces and nephews.

Clare Murphy

Of Revere

Clare M. (Balcom) Murphy of Revere died on December 22.

A graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1944, she was the beloved wife of the late Francis W. Murphy with whom she shared 47 years of marriage; loving and devoted mother of Janice C. Murphy of Framingham, Maureen T. DeFeudis and her husband, Emanuele of Lynn, Kevin C. Murphy and his wife, Sharon of New Hampshire, Brian P. Murphy and his wife, Joanne of Revere, and the late William Francis Murphy; dear sister of the late Paul Balcom; cherished grandmother of Susan, Krysta, Daniel, Jonathan, and Brian Murphy, Jr.

John Lovetere, Jr.

Of Revere, formerly of East Boston

John J. Lovetere, Jr. of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died on Decemer 21 following a long illness.

A US Army veteran of World War II, he was the former proprietor of Angelo’s Gulf Station of Winthrop for over 20 years and a retiree of the Food & Drug Administration of Chelsea.

He was the beloved husband of 60 years of Audrey E. (Fogarty); devoted father of Joyce J. Misci and her husband, John and Elizabeth A. Pesce, all of Revere; devoted grandfather of: Melyssa J. Perkins and her husband, Jamie of West Peabody, Bryan A. Misci and his wife, Kim of Lynn, Krystin L. and Adam M. Misci and Tyla Elizabeth Pesce, all of Revere; dear brother of Joseph Lovetere and his wife, Rose of Brockton, Francis Lovetere and his wife, Joanne, Charles Lovetere and his wife, Charlene, James Lovetere and Jimmy, Thomas Lovetere and his wife, Donna, all of Florida and the late Angelo Lovetere. He is also lovingly survived by his sister-in-law, Linda Lovetere of Florida and by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Michael L. Mastrangelo of Revere died unexpectedly on December 18 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett. He was 33 years old.

An independent carpet installer, he was the cherished son of Lawrence and Elaine (Molloy) Mastrangelo of Revere; beloved brother of Meghan Mastrangelo of Revere; loving uncle of Jakob Perkins; grandson of the late Thomas and Doris Molloy and Anthony Mastrangelo and is also lovingly survived by his aunts and uncles, Nancy Molloy of Revere, Denise and George Levy of Lynn, Peter and Susan Molloy of Lynn, John Molloy and his companion, Laurie Sullivan of Quincy, Michael Molloy of Chelsea, David Molloy of Waltham, Richard and Denise Molloy of Wilmington, Ralph and Barbara Mastrangelo of Peabody, Anita and Steven Morandi of Swampscott, Rose and John Ciepiela of Peabody, Allen and Dana Mastrangelo of Wakefield, Toby Buccieri of Las Vegas, Nevada, his girlfriend, Shelly Whitmore and his cousins, Danny Molloy, Nicholas Levy, Madison Molloy, Brad Mastrangelo, Peter Mastrangelo, Chris Mastrangelo, Jill Donovan, Jeffrey Morandi, Todd Ciepiela, Kimberly Keough, Jonathan Ciepiela, Olivia Mastrangelo, Bryan Molloy, Stephen Molloy, Seth Molloy, Alicia Molloy and Adam Buccieri.
