We want to congratulate the graduates of the Class of 2013 from Lynn Classical High School, Lynn English High School, Lynn Vocational Technical Institute, and St. Mary’s High School.
The students and their families can be rightfully proud of this accomplishment. A high school diploma is a vital first step and a foundation for the next important step in life, whether it be entrance to a two-or-four-year college, a job, other vocational training, or military service.
Certainly the leaders of our schools, Superintendent Dr. Catherine Latham, and Principals Gene Constantino, Thomas Strangie, Diane Paradis, and Carl DiMaiti deserve a tip of the cap for providing these students with an outstanding education in a safe and productive learning environment. We wish Mr. DiMaiti well as he begins in a new leadership position at St. Mary’s at the helm of its scholars’ program.
We salute the school’s directors of athletics, William Devin, Gary Molea, Joseph Skeadas, and Jeff Newhall, for providing the graduating athletes opportunities to compete in programs that stress not only excellence on the field but excellence in the classroom.
To our graduates, congratulations and best wishes and we hope you’ll return and support your respective schools at athletic contests, reunions, and other events.
