John Labuk

Retired Warehouse Foreman

John F. Labuk of Lynn lost his valiant fight against cancer and died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 7.

A lifelong resident of Lynn, he was born in Lynn in November of 1944, the son of the late Frank and Helen (Misiura) Labuk. He graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1962.

Mr. Labuk had been employed by the Grossman Cap Company of Avon, MA where he worked as a warehouse foreman, retiring in 2004 after 37 years.

John loved woodwork, spending time tending to his garden, watching his favorite Boston sport teams and visiting with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his aunt Leocadya (Misiura) Koziski of Peabody and several cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Michael T. Labuk.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to The Nadworny Funeral Home, 798 Western Ave., Lynn. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
