Connery Rink Reaches out to Revere Residents

As one door closes, FMC Ice Sports opens another! Due to storm damage caused by the tornado in Revere on July 28th, 2014, the Cronin Skating Rink will be closed temporarily for repairs. To compensate for the unprecedented closing, FMC Ice Sports will open the Connery Skating Rink in neighboring Lynn early. Residents of Revere will have the opportunity to skate on public session for free at this location until sessions at the Cronin Skating Rink become available again.

Public Skating at the Connery Skating Rink occur weekly on Fridays from 2:00-3:50pm beginning August 1st, 2015. Admission is $5.00 for nonresidents of Revere and rental skates are available for $5 on a first-come, first-served basis. Revere citizens must show proof of residency to receive free admission.

The Connery Skating Rink is located at 182 Shepard Street in Lynn and is owned by the Department of Conservation and Recreation and managed by FMC Ice Sports.
