Police Ask for Public’s Help With Recent Bank Robbery

Lynn Police this week have distributed information about a suspect they believe was involved in two Lynn bank robberies and attempted a third in the past six to seven months.

According to a Lynn Police press release, the suspect in the three incidents is a white male between the ages of 40 and 50 years old, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet 2 inches in height.

He is being sought in connection with robberies that occurred on October 2 and April 18 at the Market Street Eastern Bank location and with an attempted robbery at the Century Bank located at 2 State St. in Lynn.

According to the police, the suspect has not shown a weapon in any of the incidents and has made his demands by passing a note.

Anyone with information about this suspect is urged to contact Lynn Police at 781-595-2000. The Lynn Police will also accept anonymous tips by text, if the tipster texts the word ‘tiplynn’ and the tip information to tip411 or 847411. Anonymous tipsters can also call 781-477-4444.
